| The road down out of the mountains gets very narrow, steep and winding, with some gravel sections. Fortunately it's not a busy day here today, and we only get two oncoming vehicles on the entire route down - and both at wider sections, and thankfully never on a narrow hairpin turn. Roads in California are generally narrow without shoulders anyway, and this road was no exception. |
