| The base of the stairs up the cliff is protected by a giant 'driftwood barrier' made of thick wooden pylons and large planks. The idea is to protect the wooden stairs when there's a storm - but even so, there's driftwood piled against and between the pylons, and we have to climb over several large stumps and logs. |
