| Another lighthouse, but much more difficult to get a good photo of, since it's surrounded by fences and signs in a Coast Guard maintenance and residential area. This lighthouse (newest on the Oregon coast) is identical to the Hecata head lighthouse, and was illuminated in 1894, replacing an earlier structure from 1857 which fell into the river after the sand under the foundation eroded away. |
