| This stretch of Route 9 is my favourite part of Zion National Park. After crossing the Virgin River, the road climbs several hundred feet up steep mountain switch-backs to reach a mile-long tunnel in the canyon wall. Out the easterly side,the road winds its way through a sculptural rocky wonderland. |
