Industrial-Size Expedition - May 2, 2009
A big rig unloads two huge fully-loaded 40-foot rafts. The two huge inflated blue tubes on this side of the truck are extra pontoons to help stabilize the rafts through the 200 miles of rapids in the bottom of the Grand Canyon. These rafts are self-propelled so rafters don't have to paddle. It will take the passengers, who arrive tomorrow, 8 days to make their way through the Grand Canyon. Probably the trip of a lifetime!
