| My first reaction is 'you've got to be kidding!?' since this sign wasn't here two years ago. I figured it was just a ploy to keep bored tourists looking into the woods while traveling between the canyon overlooks. But it turns out that the Grand Canyon area does indeed have a growing population of mountain lions. They are very illusive creatures, rarely ever spotted, but one was killed by a car just last year. |
