| The Service structures at Launch-pad 39B are being dismantled and then the site will be prepared for NASA's new space exploration vehicles. On the left are two of the lightning towers which protect the work crew and the rockets. Cameras installed on each tower record lightning strikes, while weather stations at four levels measure wind speed, wind direction, temperature and humidity. |
