| No trucks or high-clearance vehicles are allowed on this morning - due to extreme high winds. The trucks have been lined up along the side of the highway for 12 hours already, so even though we had wanted to go explore Prince Edward Island, we decide to not sit around and wait. Even when they do allow campers to cross today, 12.9 kilometers on a narrow two-lane bridge is a mighty long way to be fighting a strong cross-wind. |
