| In Old Bonaventure, Trinity Bay, Cape Random was built in 2000 as the set for the movies Random Passage and The Shipping News. It's a recreation of an early 1800's fishing community, authentic in every detail. The site is kept up as a pioneer village of sorts. This year all the wooden rooves have had to be replaced. They look glaringly out of place. |
