| Reconstructed scale replica of the 15th century Caravel in which John Cabot sailed across the Atlantic in 1497, to land here at Cape Bonavista. It's not a very big ship, and must have been crowded on long voyages. The replica was built by the Newfoundland Shipwrights to commemorate the 500th anniversary of Cabot's landing. |
