Being such a nice clear sunny day, we decided to go to St. Mary's Ecological Reserve. But no sooner did we arrive at the coast of the Avalon peninsula, but we were engulfed in fog. Since it's foggy here two out of every three days, we decide to take the trail out to bird rock anyway. We couldn't see where the trail went in front of us, or from where we'd come. There was just the lichen-covered rocks, and the constant sound of the lighthouse foghorn. |
