| Bird Rock and the adjacent cliffs are like avain high rise apartments. Each species of seabird chooses whatever ledge, outcrop or overhang best suits it's particular nesting needs. Gannets are at the top. Below them are the kittiwakes (seen on the narrow ledge, bottom right), and below them are murre, razorbills, guillemot, and cormorants. But with it being so foggy, we can't see that far down. |
