| Love this image of a snowy owl. He was hiding among the plants in his fenced enclosure at the Salmonier Nature Park. I was surprised to find owls in an area with no roof, but the birds are permanent residents who will never fly again. The nature park, which is the closest thing to a zoo in Newfoundland, is actually a rehabilitation site for injured native animals and birds. |
