My niece Melissa was married to Mike Lock this past Saturday. Melissa was just beaming the entire day - they were so happy. It's been a rough ride for her, as just two and a half years ago Melissa was on life-support at Mt. Sinai totally paralyzed with the worst case of Guillian Barré they had ever seen, unable to breath or even blink. She had a miraculous recovery, and last year had a beautiful little girl - Marie, so the wedding was a celebration on so many levels. (photo courtesy of Marianne) |
