| A close-up shot of a trout lily. They remind me of being 5 years old on Manitoulin Island. The woods at the end of the farm driveway were full of them. They were the first flowers to come up the spring we moved to Canada. So for me, trout lilies have become a symbol of the joys of early childhood adventure and discovery. |
