| Melvin has the most picturesque dock in Durrell. Frommer's Guides thinks so too, since they put a picture of it on the cover of their 2008 travel guide to Nfld. We picked up a copy for Melvin in St. John's. He was thrilled to add it to his museum in the red shed at the end of his dock. He offered to take us out for a private tour to the iceberg, but we'd have to come back in the evening at high tide, since his boat was high and dry on the dock right then. |
