Shooting the Glacier - August 9, 2006
A group of people photographing the Athabasca Glacier from the top of a morriane. The glacier extends over 5 kilometres from the Columbia Icefield, which can be seen at the top of the glacier, and between the mountain tops. This glacier is receding quickly - each time we come here, the toe of the glacier has moved many metres back towards the Icefield (we were here in 1998, 2003, and 2005). Canon EOS DIGITAL REBEL
