| We come across the Band Cemetery in Campbell River - totally by accident - and take a look at the totem poles. It's a totally different experience to see totem poles deteriorating in native cemeteries as opposed to seeing them in relatively pristine condition in parks. There's definitely something 'more authentic' and touching about the cemetery poles. |
