Females just grow short pointy stubs instead of horns. Pronghorn can be seen all day, but are especially active in the late afternoons and evenings. I couldn't believe how many there were. In the few hours driving west on I-80, I counted over 500 pronghorn! And that was mostly just my side of the road, and with limited vision since the sun was right in our faces for the last hour. |
