Bear Lake is end of the road, and trailhead into the mountains. I can't say I'm impressed - the lake looks like it could be anywhere in northern Ontario. But I guess that's because the Colorado Rockies are granite and not sedimentary rock like the Canadian Rockies, so they don't have the beautiful blue glacial lakes. |
