This trail has to be the worst of all the lookouts I've ever been on, in that it creates such an incredible sense of vertigo. The edges of the trail often drop off thousands of feet into the canyon, and sometimes even on both sides. We found we needed to hug the rock wall when there were any, and stop to let people pass, as it was just too scary to actually walk past anyone. (photo taken by Jan) |
