The balloons still in the air are competing in the flying competition - dropping bean bags, or hula-hoops onto targets from above. It would be interesting to stay and watch, but we've already stayed an extra day, and we seriously need to start for home. As we head east on I-40 the sky clouds over, and by evening in Oklahoma it's damp and rainy. The next three days are miserable weather as we travel homeward, so this is the final photo from our adventure. It was a lot of fun, and we would love to go back to Albuquerque for the Balloon Fiesta again sometime. |
